Editorial standards

This page exists so you can judge our content on something other than tone.

What we will not do

• We do not invent local detail. No made-up neighbourhoods, venues, events or demographic figures on city pages for places we have not verified.
• We do not publish per-city member counts we cannot stand behind.
• We do not present commercial links as neutral recommendations. Sponsored and member-generated links carry the appropriate rel attribute in the page source.
• We do not publish content about, aimed at, or involving anyone under 18.

Community content

Threads in the community boards reflect member discussion, including disagreement. Where members recommend a platform, that is their view rather than an endorsement by RuneDate. Treat peer advice as peer advice.

Dates and updates

Every thread and guide carries a visible publication or last-activity date that matches the machine-readable date in the page source. If the two ever disagree, the page is wrong and we want to know about it.

Corrections

If something on RuneDate is inaccurate, email [email protected] with the URL. We correct factual errors rather than quietly deleting the page.
